Appointments:
An initial session is a first meeting where we meet each other to discuss the possibility of
working together. It is a 50 minute meeting and I charge the same fee for that as I do for an
individual therapy session which is set during the first session, typically $85.00. Please bring
all your questions and concerns as well as your goals and intentions to that meeting. Also,
please download, read and fill out the Intake Form from the “Forms” section listed below and
bring it with you to your first appointment.
ALL APPOINTMENTS NEED to be made by calling: 619-804-2914 by the person(s) planning
to attend counseling. Please leave me a message with the good times and phone numbers
where I can call you and speak with you voice to voice. Most counseling sessions are 50
Minutes in length. First appointments are meant to determine your needs as client(s),
establish goals for counseling, set appointment schedule and determine counseling fees.
EACH person needs to complete an Intake Form to be used during the first appointment.
This form can be downloaded from this site and brought with you to the initial appointment.
Because it is difficult for me to respond to email during the day, it is best to leave a voice
message for me at: 619.804.2914. It is also very rare to schedule a same day appointment,
but sometimes they are available due to cancellations. I also work with SHARP Health-Care
in addition to my private practice, so my appointments fill quickly, often with a waiting list,
reserve your appointment soon.

form to authorize release of psychotherapy information:
Confidentiality & Privacy Policy:
The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written
permission. Exceptions include: Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this
to the appropriate authorities immediately. If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and
inform the intended victim. If a client intends to harm him or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their
safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure
their safety.
